Van Wert Police

August 16, 5:25 p.m. — Gabriel G. Spradlin, 28, of 315-C Woodland Ave., was charged with violating a civil protection order issued by an Indiana court in connection with an incident in the 500 block of Woodland Avenue.

August 15, 10:42 p.m. — Collin M. Workman, 19, of 206 S. Cherry St., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under a license suspension as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of Washington Street and Town Center Boulevard.

August 16, 1:44 p.m. — Tamara L. Carroll, 28, of 228 W. Crawford St., was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Van Wert Municipal Court in 2006.

August 15, 11:30 p.m. — Charles S. Tompkins, 18, of 16913 Wren-Landeck Road, was charged with underage consumption and having physical control of a vehicle while intoxicated after he was found passed out in his vehicle in the parking lot of the Van Wert Walmart Supercenter.

August 14, 1:41 a.m. — Ream Thomas Davis Jr., 56, of 511 N. Race St., was arrested on a probation violation issued in Van Wert Common Pleas Court while at Van Wert County Hospital following an early incident at his residence.

August 15, Allen D. McMillen, 29, of 14396 Ohio 116, was charged with theft in connection with an alleged shoplifting incident at the local Walmart Supercenter.

August 14, 4:56 p.m. — Calvin L. Risley, 23, of Convoy, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI) as a result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Walnut Street. A passenger in Risley’s vehicle, Gage L. Dubski, 20, of Erie, Pa., was cited for possession of marijuana.
