August 12, 3:13 p.m. — Claude L. Powell Jr., 50, of 320 S. Chestnut St., was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident that occurred at his residence.

August 12, 10:35 a.m. — Two counterfeit $20 bills were reportedly received at the Subway on Towne Center Boulevard.

August 10, 12:04 p.m. — Elizabeth A. Stevens, 39, of 816 S. Race St., and Kevina D. Currie, 23, of Decatur, Ind., were charged with theft as a result of an alleged shoplifting incident at the local Walmart Supercenter.
