Niswonger PAC to raffle off OSU artwork

Niswonger PAC news

“Bold and beautiful” defines the stunning Ohio State University Block “O” Artwork designed and finely crafted by stained glass artisan Dave Taylor. The piece was donated by Taylor to the Niswonger Performing Arts Center to benefit its orchestra shell campaign.

Raffle tickets are currently available and will continue to be sold leading up to The Ohio State Marching Band Concert on November 7. The winner will be drawn and announced from the stage when TBDBITL makes its appearance at the Niswonger that evening, starting at 7:30.

The beautifully framed stained glass art designed by Taylor features beveled glass displaying the Ohio State Block “O” in a vibrant red, complemented by smoked glass panels and framed in a distinct black wood. The piece looks fabulous on display at the Niswonger lobby, but would look better proudly displayed in a Buckeye fan’s home.

Share in the enthusiasm of the performing arts and The Ohio State Buckeyes! Entries are $5 each or five for $20. The winner does not need to be present at the OSU band concert to win. Entries for the raffle can be purchased at the Niswonger Box Office, Jeffery-Mohr Family Dentistry, First Federal Savings & Loan of Van Wert, and the Kenn-Feld Group implement dealership in Van Wert.

The raffle is part of the Niswonger orchestra shell campaign, with proceeds to go toward the purchase of a stage orchestra shell. For more information call 419.238.6722, visit npacvw.org or see the Block “O” in person at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center, 10700 Ohio 118-south. Tickets for The Ohio State Marching Band Concert are currently available in advance by bundling three season events. Check with the box office about early ticketing discount options.
