Kendall A. Mohr, 96, of Van Wert, died at 5:53 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born October 11, 1916, in Paulding County, the son of the late Alfred E. and Opal (Spicer) Mohr. On December 31, 1939, he married Ursula (Dougal) Mohr, who preceded him in death on November 5, 2008.

Survivors include four children, Sandra (Craig) Goddard of Bradenton, Fla., Karen (John) Butler of Van Wert, Keith (Joyce) Mohr of Findlay and Kip (Christine) Mohr of Stow; a sister, Glendene Van Landingham of Convoy; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Guiles and Ersel Mohr; a sister, Elizabeth Brautigam; and a great-great-grandchild, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Revs. Ronald Lumm and Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center or Pleasant Chapel United Methodist Church.
