Crime Stoppers 7/30/13

Crime Stoppers will pay you cash for information if it will help the Van Wert City Police department solve an attempted break-in at the American Legion, 631 W. Main St. in Van Wert.

Sometime during the overnight hours of July 6-7, someone attempted to break into the northwest corner entry door. It appeared someone used a pry bar on the door, but it is believed no entry was gained to the establishment.

If you have any information about this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 419.238.STOP (7867).  You will not have to give your name or reveal your identity. If your information helps to solve this case, Crime Stoppers will pay you a cash reward up to $1,000.
