Van Wert Police

May 18, 9:25 p.m. — Douglas R. Thatcher Jr., 34, of 405 S. Vine St., and Robert J. Blair, 42, of 314 S. Vine St., were both cited for disorderly conduct as a result of a fight in the 400 block of South Vine Street.

May 17, 11:36 p.m. — Eric D. Bowers, 26, of 11268 Dull Robinson Road, was charged with disorderly conduct for urinating in the Van Wert Municipal Court parking lot.

May 18, 4:04 a.m. — Chase S. Wallace, 19, of 327 S. Shannon St., was cited for underage consumption and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of an incident in the 600 block of North Franklin Street.

May 17, 12:13 a.m. — A resident o the 100 block of South Wall Street reported the theft of an electric generator from his residence.

May 16, 5:16 p.m. — A resident of the 500 block of South Avenue reported the theft of jewelry from her residence.

May 16, 6:39 p.m. — A man reported the theft of a concrete angel from his wife’s headstone at Woodland Cemetery, 1501 Woodland Ave.
