Van Wert Police

November 3, 1:06 p.m. — Scott A. Spry, 35, of 421 S. Franklin St., was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana when he was allegedly found in possession of a baggie of marijuana while being arrested on an indictment for drug trafficking at a residence in the 400 block of Dickinson Avenue.

November 3, 11:31 a.m. — Joe B. Quevedo, 48, of 233 South Ave., was arrested for possession of a drug abuse instrument as a result of a search of his residence by the Van Wert County Adult Probation Department.

November 2, 5:23 p.m. — Alyssa C. Bebout, 24, of 816 W. Main St., Apt. 10, was arrested for domestic violence as a result of a domestic dispute at her residence.

October 31, 8:59 a.m. — A Van Wert woman reported the theft of a camera memory disk from her property.

October 31, 9:43 a.m. — The theft of a Tom Tom GPS device was reported from a car parked in the 500 block of North Market Street.

November 1, 1:38 p.m. — Misty R. McLaughlin, 25, of 10886 Lincoln Highway, Apt. 2, was charged with theft as a result of an alleged shoplifting incident at Dollar General in Van Wert.

November 1, 1:21 p.m. — The theft of a firearm was reported at a residence in the 9100 block of John Brown Road.

October 31, 7:27 p.m. — Zachary S. Craig, 33, of 333 N. Race St., was arrested for violating a civil protection order at a residence in the 300 block of West Maple Avenue.

October 29, 12:28 p.m. — A vendor at Main Street Market reported that she received a counterfeit check for $311.18 made to look as if it was drawn on the business account of Quail Run Apartments.
