Van Wert Police

October 28, 8:24 p.m. — Dakota Hesler, 16, a resident of The Marsh Foundation, was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and theft after she ran away from the Marsh and was found riding a bicycle she allegedly stole off a porch of a residence in the 100 block of Boyd Avenue.

October 25, 12:29 p.m. — An employee of Van Wert Glass, 116 Sibley St., reported that someone stole information from the business’ checking account and made illegal purchases over the Internet.

October 28, 1:03 a.m. — A theft of electronic items was reported at a residence in the 600 block of Center Street. Taken were stereo and television equipment, an iPad, Xbox 360, Acer laptop computer and Nikon camera, all valued at approximately $5,000.

Delphos Police

October 28, 11:19 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 200 block of East Third Street. Officers talked with the alleged victim, who said a person known to him had caused, attempted to cause, physical harm to him and had also threatened harm to his family. The case was forward to the prosecutor’s office for review and possible charges.
