October 24, 6:02 p.m. – The side of an above-ground swimming pool was shot and damaged by a BB gun.

October 23, 5:26 p.m. – A Van Wert woman said her credit card was stolen and used.

October 23, 3:04 p.m. – Charles C Estle, 18, of Mendon, was charged with theft for allegedly shoplifting at the local Walmart Super Center.

October 23, 7:05 p.m. – Viola Q. Quiroz, 56, of 1132 Pratt St., was cited for not licensing her dog after it was found running loose in her neighborhood.

October 23, 10:21 a.m. – Alexandra N. Whisman, 19, of 526 Burt St., was served with a warrant issued on behalf of the Van Wert County Adult Probation Department for probation violation while at the Van Wert Police Department.

October 23, 1:10 a.m. – Michael R. Pertschi, 23, of Grover Hill, was cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated for an incident that occurred in the 600 block of North Washington Street.

October 22, 5:40 p.m. – The theft of wedding rings was reported at Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert.
